Amy Ward passed away Saturday April 18th surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of faith, strength, and deep compassion for others.
She was a devoted wife to Ben Chupp, a loving mother to Ollie and Marley, and a cherished stepmother to Abby. She was a beloved daughter to Randal Martin and Debra Clark, and a dear sister to Aubrey, Ashley, Adam, and Aaron. Her family was the center of her world, and she poured her heart into building a strong foundation for her children rooted in the love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Amy is preceded in death by her father-in-law Dave Ward and first husband Bill Ward.
Amy had a remarkable ability to love people well. Out of her deep faith, she cared genuinely about others and their experiences, drawing people in with warmth, humor, and authenticity. She had a gift for making people laugh and she brought joy wherever she went. She was also known as the best dancer in the room, bringing energy and lightness to those around her.
Her life was marked by resilience and courage. After the passing of her first husband, Bill, while she was pregnant with Marley, she continued forward with strength and grace. Later, even in the midst of her battle with cancer, she remained a steadfast and loving wife and mother, facing each day with dignity and unwavering faith.
She fought for justice for the helpless, which reflected her heart for serving others and standing up for those in need. In every season of her life, she pointed people to Jesus, leaving a profound and eternal impact on all who knew her.
Most importantly, Amy loved Jesus with all her heart. That love shaped everything she did and everyone she touched.
She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of faith, love, and strength will live on in her family and in the countless lives she impacted.
