Barbara Deakin

Barbara Jean Deakin 1938- 2012 Barbara Deakin, 74, of Tucson, former longtime Hanna City resident, passed away December 19,2012. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, George; mother: Marjorie Gilmore; children: Melodee, Grant, and Ron; sister: Bonnie Packard; and, grandchildren: Halie, Racheal, Connor, Katherine, Matthew, and Hannah as well as foster grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father: Fred Gilmore and son: David. Barbara worked for many years with her husband as a Tucson Realtor. She was a very active member at her church and loved to read. A memorial service will be held at 10am December 28th at the Oro Valley Church of the Nazarene, 500 W Calle Concordia, Tucson, AZ 85704. Lunch will be provided after the service at the church.
