Davida J Dutiel Obituary (1932 - 2011)

Davida J. Dutiel, age 78, found peace in God's hands on August 12, 2011. She was born and raised in Portsmouth, Ohio. Davida lived in Centerville, Ohio until 1994, when she moved to Oro Valley, Arizona. Beloved wife and inseparable best friend for 61 years of Glenn W. Dutiel. Loving mother of Becky (Jim) Anderson, Nancy Dutiel and Scott (Laura) Dutiel. Proud Grandma of Michael, Matthew, Mark, Samantha and Nick. She was the daughter of the late David Fannin and the late Della Fannin See. Preceded in death by her brother, Edward B. Fannin (Rosemary), stepfather Rev. Jacob See, stepbrothers Floyd Pete See and Jake See, and two step-sisters, Virginia Simon and Juanita Turner. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends around the country. Davida was totally devoted to her husband and family. She and Glenn met when she was 14 and he was 16, and were never apart for 64 years. Her three children will forever love her for making a wonderful and supportive home and happy childhood memories for them. She will be loved and remembered by all who knew her for her patient, kind and gentle nature and for her sense of humor. She and Glenn were accomplished square dancers and round dancers for 48 years, and were very active as both participants and leaders in local and national events. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date in her home town in Ohio. The family respectfully requests no flowers or phone calls.
