Donna Marie Bond

Donna Marie Bond was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on November 25, 1945 to Donald and Bernatha Potter. She was raised in Phoenix, AZ where she fell in love and then married Jack Bond on June 1, 1968. Donna graduated from Arizona State University in 1973 with her Master's degree in Education.

Donna has two children Elizabeth Warner and John Christopher Bond. She has four grandchildren Jonathan and Jillian Bond, and Linnea and Lillian Warner in whom she took great delight calling them her "Little Darlin's". She loved her family from Iowa with great affection, particularly her Aunt Wilma who has recently crossed over to heaven and her cousin Marilyn Hunter.

She loved working with small children. In 38 years of teaching elementary school, mostly first and second grade, she touched the lives of over 1,200 children. She was often stopped by former students in grocery stores, restaurants and sometimes the parents of children in her current class asking her, "Mrs. Bond, do you remember me?".

Donna was very loving and devoted wife and mother, her actions deeply honored God's Unconditional Love. "Let Love be genuine"-Romans 12:9. She was devoted to her faith and loved her family dearly. We who know her, miss her physical presence here so very much. "And behold, I am with you always"-Matthew 28:20

The family requests that any gifts in memory of Donna be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and the Children's Miracle Network.
