Fran Pendrys Obituary (1934 - 2015)

Frances (Fran) Pendrys passed away peacefully at her home on May 15, 2015. She was born in Buffalo, New York on August 22, 1934 as the youngest of nine children. Fran is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ed; a daughter, Lisa and Dr. David Wright of Santa Fe, NM; a son Craig, of Houston, TX; an adored grandchild, Gregory, at the Univ. of Colorado, Boulder and a brother, Frank (Carrie) Wiglusz of Council Bluffs, IA. She retired from IBM as a manager in 1990 and then moved to Oro Valley from Dunwoody, GA. Fran enjoyed sports, was a Senior Olympics medal winner in tennis and pickleball and loved playing Mahjong with her lady friends. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Casa de la Luz Hospice for the wonderful care given to our loved one. At her request, a memorial service will not be held.
