Harry C. "Mike" Stanton, 86 years old, passed away February 18, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, PA on May 22, 1930 to Harry C. Stanton, Sr. and Katherine Storey Stanton. Loving husband of Elizabeth Lanyon Stanton; beloved father of Susan Stanton (Steven) Rotman, Ellen (Mark) Milstone, Sallyanne Warner, Matthew (Tracy) Stanton; grandfather of Tara (Abigail) Donner, Sarah (Caleb) Epps, Mathew Rotman, Megan Milstone, Andrew Milstone, Tyler (Iku) Warner, Caitlin (Greg) Saks, Tiernan Warner, Peyton Warner, Spencer Stanton, Connor Stanton, Quinn Stanton & Sophia Stanton and great-grandfather of Hazel Donner, Audra Donner and Leo Epps; brother of Helen Connell and the late Delores Francine; uncle to many nieces and nephews.He will also be missed by many good friends. Mike is pre-deceased by his sister Delores Francine and former wife Nancy Dillon Stanton. Mike honorably served for three years in the US Army (ASA). After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, Mike worked for Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI and then enjoyed a 35 year career with Mobil Oil Corporation. Mike was a voracious reader, avid hiker, enjoyed golf, and loved to travel, especially to France and Quebec, Canada. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 22nd at 2 PM at Santa Catalina Catholic Church. Interment will follow at a later date. For information call Vistoso Funeral Home 544-2285
