With heartfelt sadness I must announce that Irene Oliphant has\npassed away. Irene bravely endured the heartbreak of cancer for over\nten years and more recently Parkinson’s Disease until she finally\naccepted the call from Heaven to rest in peace.\n\nIrene is survived by her loving husband of 44 years Kenton Oliphant\nin Oro Valley, Arizona, also her beautiful daughter Jessica Myers and\nequally beautiful granddaughter Evy Myers in Richmond, Virginia.\nIrene was a wonderful and supportive wife and mother. She acquired\nher cosmetology license at the age of 43, which was no small feat. She\nlater embraced her creative artwork which was displayed in galleries in\nSan Diego and Moab, Utah.\n\nIrene was an avid reader and even won a short story writing contest.\nShe absolutely loved to play tennis. She also loved the white sand\nbeaches of the Caribbean. She would say they looked like sugar.\nIrene will forever be missed and lovingly remembered as the most\nwonderful person on the planet. I can’t believe you are really gone.
