See married the love of her life, the late Frederick Arnold Berl on September 1, 1950. \n\n \n\nMarried for 63 years, Jackie and Fred raised two children, Barb Sosnowchik of Tucson and Fred Berl of Los Alamos, NM. In addition to raising her two children, she was a voracious reader and was very active in a variety of youth activities. Jackie spent many years with the Owosso Michigan Memorial Health Care Auxiliary. She spent countless hours volunteering with high risk hearing program for infants. \n\n \n\nShe and Frederick lived in Michigan, Ohio, California, Florida and finally moving to Tucson in December 2013. They were avid travelers, having travelled around the world as well as trips all over Europe, Africa, Asia Australia and South America.\n\nShe is survived by a daughter Barbara Sosnowchik and her husband Thomas of Tucson, AZ, a son Frederick J. Berl and his wife Theresa of Los Alamos, NM, two grandchildren Brian Sosnowchik and Alexandra Jacqueline Berl, a brother Dan Leimeter and a sister Barb Urbisci and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband and her parents.
