It is with great sadness we announce that James (Jim) Craig passed away in Tucson, AZ on June 6, 2019 at the age of 84. Jim is preceded in his death by his parents Arthur Craig and Elizabeth "Betty" (Ketter) Craig, and brothers Thomas Dwain Craig, and Max Craig.\n\nJim is survived by his wife of 53 years Anne, and children Jeanne Johnson, Dennis (Denny) Craig, and Douglas (Doug) Craig. Jim has 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.\n\nJim enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and received a National Defense Service - Good Conduct Medal, and then started his career at General Electric which later became Lockheed Martin. When Jim retired from LMSC in Sunnyvale, CA he built his dream home for him and his wife and moved to Reno, NV. His hobby was studying racing forms, and going to his favorite tracks at Golden Gate Fields and Bay Meadows. He had a unique sense of humor and loved to recite Limericks. Jim moved to Tucson in 2015 to be closer to family, and made many friends in his independent/assisted living facility where he will be truly missed by all.\n\nOur Father Jim will be remembered for his unconditional love for his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was truly an amazing father, husband, and grandfather.\n\nA graveside service will be held on Monday, July 1, 2019 at 12:00 pm at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Marana (15950 N. Luckett Rd, Marana, AZ 85653).\n\nBoth Jim's sons are Dallas Police Officers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Jim's name to "Assist the Officers Foundation" at http://www.atodallas.org a non-profit organization.
