Jamie attended both military and public school systems. Jamie was an affable and good hearted soul. He grew up with his younger sister Kim, a year and half his junior, experiencing adventures in Bermuda; Quantico, VA; Annapolis, MD; where he was joined by his younger brother Bryan, Camp Lejeune, NC; and later Ft. Monmouth, NJ. Graduating Monmouth Regional High School, Jamie attended Brookdale Junior College for a semester and then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps earning a Military Occupation Specialty 0351 (anti-tank). He traveled the world seeing action in Haiti, deployments to Albania; Okinawa, Japan; Pohang, Korea; and mustered out of Camp Lejeune to a USMC Reserve Unit in Albany, NY. Promoted to Corporal, Jamie also volunteered and joined the New York State Naval Militia. Jamie took part in fire-fighting duties at West Point and participated in the Presidential Honor Guard aboard the Intrepid for President Clinton. Jamie interviewed and was selected to work for the highly reputable Karastan Rug company, responsible for service to the greater Boston, MA, area. Jamie was a diehard Yankee, Football Giant, Knicks, and Ranger fan. He became a care giver to his grandfathers, John Nugent and Gene Wolf, also to his grandmothers Joan Wolf and Jean Nugent. Jamie was known for his quick sense of humor and cordiality. Jamie passed away at the age of 44, early afternoon 20 November 2020. Corporal Wolf predeceases his grandmother Jean Nugent, his father Robert, his mother Susan, his sister Kim, brother Bryan, and his many uncles, aunts, cousins and especially his relationship with his nephews John and Mason and niece River Jane. Jamie, a hero to the very end, chose to be an organ donor, and to date has posthumously saved three lives. A celebration of Jamie's life will be held at a later date.
