A pillar of kindness in the Tucson community, James Peter Workizer unexpectedly passed away on March 13, 2023, at age 51. He is survived by his beloved wife, Denisha Workizer; their four children: two sons and two daughters; his mother, Kazz Workizer; and twin sister, Heather Dresser; her husband, Kevin Dresser, and their four children. He is preceded in death by his father, D.T. (Pete) Workizer.\n\n\n\nBorn May 22, 1971, in Huntsville, Alabama, to a military family, James lived in multiple states, overseas in Germany, and ultimately planted roots in Tucson, Arizona. James was overjoyed to marry the love of his life, Denisha, on April 14, 2000. A few years later, they welcomed the first of four beautiful children, and James flourished in his role as a proud and loving father.\n\n\n\nJames spent his early adult life working in restaurants, managing large grocery chains, and finally settling into a successful 18-year career as a real estate agent and mentor. James was loved and respected immensely in all his personal and professional endeavors.\n\n\n\nIn his spare time, James enjoyed mountain and road biking, spending quality time with his friends and family, and incorporating daily acts of kindness for an astonishing number of people. James was well-known by thousands for his friendly high-fives, homemade toffee deliveries, and memorable birthday greetings.\n\n\n\nJames will be most remembered for his infectious laugh, spreading joy, and loving others well.
