Jess passed peacefully on December 13, 2021 to be with his Lord. He was preceded in death by his wife and mother of their 5 children, Donna Jean (Farris) Omstead. Preceded in death by his son Jess Elbert Omstead III and survived by children David Lucas Omstead, Tammy Jean Mockbee, Michael Jewett Omstead, Julie Lucille Riley and their spouses. Jess was a loving grandfather to 14 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by 3 sisters, Arita, Joy and Virginia. He is survived by his sister Judy. Further survived by other much loved relatives and friends. Jess will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by everyone that knew him.
