Jim Kipp

James W. Kipp, 69, passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 13, 2017, after a battle with cancer. Born in Evanston, IL on September 13, 1947, Jim spent his formative years in Roswelll, NM and later San Antonio, TX. Jim enlisted with the US Air Force from 1967-1971, serving 15 months in Vietnam. His desire to serve continued throughout his career, as he spent a total of 27 years, including the USAF Tucson, Arizona Air National Guard. Jim had a passion for the outdoors, spending free time hunting with firearms and archery and was an advocate for family involvement. Jim will be missed by all that knew him. Jim is survived by his wife, Barbara "Bo" Kipp; children, Jennifer (Corby) Kissler, Christopher Kipp; stepchildren, Dan (Meredith) O'Shea, Jon (Asha) O'Shea; and 6+ grandchildren. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Wally and Betty Kipp. Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017. Please contact the family for details.
