Jimmie W. Cooper 1935 ~ 2015 Jimmie was born in Wichita, Kansas. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy, his son Marc, his daughter Cathy,his stepsons Derek and Darrell, 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Jimmie graduated from Wichita North High School in 1953, he then attended University of Arizona for 1 year to study graphic design and numerous Boeing Co. sponsored art classes. He worked at Boeing Aircraft, Wichita Division from 1954 - 1963 as the Senior Technical Illustrator, and then to Intermountain Aviation from 1963-1973. Jimmie attended Eastman Kodak in Rochester, NY training on photographic applications and printing techniques and continued on by establishing the Graphic Arts Department. Jimmie moved to Kansas City, Mo in 1973 and worked for a glass and sales rep and then became the Sales Manager. He transferred to Tucson, AZ in 1985 with Safelite Auto glass as their Sales Manager and then in 1997 he transferred to Boston, MA with Harmon Auto glass as the NE Regional Sales Manager. Jimmie retired in 1999 to Cape Cod, and then moved back to Tucson in 2003 to enjoy the desert, old friends and family. Jimmie enjoyed all sports, especially softball, golf, antiquing, painting, refinishing, cooking, and later in life ceramics.
