John Bloom February 10, 1935 - October 10, 2020 John J. Bloom Jr., of Oro Valley, AZ, died Saturday, October 10, 2020. John was born February 10, 1935, in South Bend, IN, to John and Frances Bloom. He worked as a senior design engineer in the heavy equipment industry for many years and retired from Caterpillar after 20 years. He loved to build and fly radio controlled model airplanes and had a passion for cars and riding motorcycles. He was a genuine people person. He is survived by his wife Patricia Carol (Woveris); 2 daughters, 3 sons: Pam Stockwell of Dowagiac, MI, Lauren Duvall of Chambersburg, PA, Don Bloom of Maui, HI, Ken Bloom of Sacramento, CA, and Andrew Bloom of San Diego, CA; 5 grandchildren, and 10 great grand children, and one brother, Tom Bloom of South Bend, IN. There will be no services at this time. Cremation has taken place.
