John Larry CrispMarch 12, 1944 - May 16, 2023John (JL) Crisp passed away on May 16th, 2023 after a 20 year battle withParkinson's Disease. He went peacefully, with his loving wife of 46 years, Rebecca,by his side.John was a dedicated family man who is survived by his wife Rebecca, 4 sons,Larry (Carol), Steven (deceased), Jeffrey, and Darren (Branden), 6 grandchildren,and 7 great-grandchildren. Born in Monticello, Arkansas, John moved with hisfamily to Denver, Colorado in 1957, where he and his first wife, Sherri (Patton)married. They were young parents with a growing family and John wasdetermined to provide for them. Thus, at a young age he entered the job marketworking in sales. In a few years he began traveling as a Sales Rep for variousclothing and shoe companies. John was always focused on providing for hischildren and eventually built his own successful business in the construction fieldand later in commercial property investments.John met and married Rebecca (Ruehlen) in 1976. They continued a life inColorado with lots of boys' activities, mostly centered around sports. There weremany years spent playing family football at Washington Park or on the grounds ofSouth High School. During those years, John coached several "pee wee" teams inboth football and baseball. In 1999 John and Rebecca made a permanent moveto Tucson to pursue their shared passion for golf and life's adventures.
