Linda Lee Knight, age 77, passed away February 10, 2023 due to Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She was bornJune 11, 1945 in Olean, New York to Carl and Eloise Linderman. She married her lifelong love, GeorgeAndrew Knight in 1967 and they enjoyed over 55 years of marriage together and had three children,Alexa (Don) Foster, Vanessa (Chris) Clark and Valri (Alfred James) Cooper.Linda's greatest joy was being a wife, mother and a grandmother. She loved to bake goodies foreveryone and make them smile. Her grandchildren include Logan (Emma) Art, Owen Art, Alfred James(Faith) Cooper V, Nathan Cooper, Eloise Clark, Chloe Art and Cora Art. Linda was also expecting her firstgreat-grandchild, Rosalie Cooper, to arrive in May.Linda worked for many years at Motorola and then Prestolite building alternators. In 1991 the familymoved to Myrtle Beach, SC where she then became an insurance claims representative with Blue Crossand Blue Shield. After she retired, Linda and her husband moved to Butner, NC where she enjoyedmaking mischief with her oldest granddaughter. In 2019 she fell in love with the desert life and movedto Arizona where she could enjoy the cactus and the mountains. She had more grandchildren to spoil sooff she went!It's hard to put into words a summary of Linda's life. She loved deeply and made everyone feel special.She loved to cross-stitch, do her morning crossword puzzle, and garden. She napped with her grandcatsand gave her granddogs treats when no one was looking. Heaven has gained an amazing angel that weall can't wait to see again.
