Lucy was born to Mr. & Mrs. Dwight Williams and raised in Kansas City, MO . She graduated from St. Mary's College in 1944, where she won an Oratory contest in May of that year, and attended the University of Kansas for Fine Arts until her marriage to James Elliott II on December 21, 1946.

Her early married years were spent in Ames, IA where her husband was completing his PhD in Physics. While there, she had her first 2 children, Christine and James III.

After a short stay in Schenectady, NY, the family moved to Eastwood, part of Syracuse, NY, in 1954. In 1955, she joined the Syracuse Operetta Company, continuing her love of music and theater, all the while, growing her family to include Elizabeth, David, Mark and Lucy Ann. She became an active part of the Blessed Sacrament choir and performed annually in their production of "Just Memories" every fall.

In 1956, she formed the Barbershop Quartet, the Misscords, singing statewide and on television until 1963.

She also became active in the Town and Country Theater in 1967, and went on to perform as 'Mrs. Bedwin' in the 1968 production of "Oliver" and then produced "Peter and Wolf" and "West Side Story" the same year.

In 1971, she relocated to Tucson to be with her family, where she continued her love of theater with the PlayBox Theater, performing as 'Brenda' in "Pajama Game" in 1974 and appearing in "Annie Get Your Gun" in 1975.

She worked in an upscale dress shop, Cele Petersons, until 1981 when she went into childcare for several local families. After retiring from the childcare field, she worked for Walgreens until her final retirement in 1992.

She is survived by her children Christine Johnson (Rick-deceased), James Elliott (Nancy) of California, Elizabeth Ledner (Art), David Elliott (Laura), Mark Elliott (Tammy) and Lucille Ann Barraza, 13 grandchildren Wyatt, Brooke and Clayton Elliott, Jeremy Ertz, Jennifer Ertz Brown and Ashley Ledner, Erin and David Elliott Jr, Courtney Davis and Clinton Elliott, Gabriella, Garrett and Alessandera Barraza, and 3 great grandchildren MacKenzie Ertz, Braden and Charlotte Davis.
