Lydia Madrid

Lydia A. Madrid was born on July 13, 1954 to Maria and Agustine Avechuco, in Nogales AZ and was called into eternal rest on August 4, 2024 at the age of 70 in Tucson, AZ.

She was a loving wife, mother, nana suegra, daughter, sister, Tia, Nina & friend. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, listening to music and being around her family and friends. She always made herself available to anyone who needed her and played a supporting role in all her grandchildren's events. Lydia along with her husband of almost 50 years raised three beautiful children, who later gave her 13 grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by her loving husband, Steve Madrid.

She leaves a family behind who loved her dearly, children; Steve Madrid (Angel), Erica Garcia (Julian), Xavier Madrid (Diana) ; Grandchildren, Kiara, Shiann, Vincent, Destiny, Xavier, Julianna, Illeanna, Alexa, Angelina, Kaylah, Julian Jr., Aubrianna and Stevie III; Parents Agustine and Maria Avechuco; Brothers, Augustine Avechuco (Martha), Mario Avechuco (Carmen), Enrique Avechuco (Norma) Sisters; Fina Madrid (Jesse), Mercedes Lopez (Ralph) many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Mammoth, AZ
