Manuel (Manny) Zimmerman\n\n \n\nOn June 12, 2020 at the age of 96, Manny let his spirit free. He will be greatly missed and long remembered for his sharp sense of humor and friendly nature. Manny was born in New York City on May 4, 1924, the son of Leo and Esther Zimmerman. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps and trained bombardiers to use the Norden bombsight. He spent his career running veterinary practices in New Rochelle and Pelham, NY until the age of 72, when he retired to Oro Valley, AZ. Before and after his retirement, Manny and his wife enjoyed traveling the world. He was proud to have hiked the 33-mile Milford Track in New Zealand at age 70.
