Mildred Louisa Storey Grier died February 11, 2019 in Oro Valley, Arizona. Mildred was born March 1, 1943 to Joseph, Sr. and Evelyn Storey in Chestertown, Maryland. She was the wife of Vernon Grier, Sr., they were married 56 years.\nMildred was a 1961 graduate of Francis Scott Key High School in Union Bridge, Maryland. Upon graduation from high school, she attended Patricia Stevens Modeling School in Baltimore, Maryland. She worked as a medical records clerk for many years in doctors offices, Carroll County Hospital and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Maryland. She enjoyed interior decorating and working in the garden.\nIn addition to her husband she is survived by her son Vernon Jr. and wife Karen of East Berlin, PA, daughter Margaret Herman and husband Steve of Mohrsville, PA, 5 grandchildren; Julie and husband Stephane, Trey, Elizabeth, Joseph Grier and Noah Herman and great grandson Aidan. Brothers, James and wife Linda Storey of Taneytown, MD, Joseph and wife Rosa Storey of Finksburg, MD, Morgan and wife Nancy Storey of Taneytown, MD and Richard and wife Glenda Storey of Louisville, KY. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.\nShe was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert Storey.
