Nancy Claffey of SaddleBrooke, Arizona passed away on March 23rd in Oro Valley, Arizona. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, John. Her three children; Michael (Rhonda) Claffey of Belleville, MI, Thomas Claffey of Hamburg, MI, Susan (Edward) Knight of Grass Lake, Mi; Grandchildren David (Ajla) Claffey, Daniel (Kylie) Claffey, Abigail Claffey, Alexandra Claffey; Great Grandchild Leyla Claffey; Brother, Ross (Debbie) Mayrand of New Port, MI; brother In law, Jerry Claffey, sister in law Kathleen(Andre) Bergeron, sister in law Carol Claffey, brother In law Dennis(Jenny)Claffey, sister in law Patricia Claffey, brother In law Joseph Frazier and many nieces and nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Maxiam and Inez Mayrand, and her brothers Lawrence Maxiam Mayrand, Niles Norman Mayrand, Dale G. Mayrand, brother In law James Claffey, brother In law Joseph Claffey, and sister in law Margaret Frazier.\n\nNancy and John met in their early childhood in Michigan, living houses away from each other. Even though they attended different schools, they started dating while they were in high school. After Nancy and John graduated high school, they married a few years later. Nancy and John had three children, and have enjoyed the life that they shared together.\n\nNancy loved golfing with her SaddleBrooke golf league. She was also a long-time volunteer at Oro Valley Hospital. She and John enjoyed traveling around the world and making new friends along the way. Nancy was an amazing baker, baking cookies and many treats for her family and friends. Nancy really enjoyed having and attending social gatherings with her many friends in SaddleBrooke. \n\nA visitation will be held at Vistoso Funeral Home on Thursday March 28th, 2019 from 1-4pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Church on Friday March 29, 2019 at 10:30am.
