Nancy graduated from Cass City High School in 1972. She attended Michigan State University and graduated from Northern Michigan University in 1976 with a bachelor's degree in Nursing. She began her career as an RN at Hills and Dales General Hospital in Cass City. In 1978 she moved to Salt Lake City, UT and worked as an ICU/CCU RN at St. Mark's Hospital. She started her own medical distributor company, Mountainside Medical, in Salt Lake City selling pacemakers. She met her husband Wally through selling Scanlan (St. Paul, MN) surgical instruments. She moved to Minnesota in 1987 where Nancy and Wally were married on May 14, 1988. She worked 20 years with Thoratec Corp. on their sales team selling high tech medical devices for heart failure patients awaiting heart transplant. Nancy was an avid reader, loved to golf and travel. Her favorite destination was Maui, Hawaii. \n\nNancy is survived by her husband Walter J Olson. Sisters Karen (Bill) Beyerlein, West Branch MI. Cathy (Al) Romig, Salt Lake City, UT. Brothers Ken Kerbyson, Lansing, MI. Paul Kerbyson, Bay City, MI, Bob (Bridget) Kerbyson, Sanford, MI. Nephews and Nieces Bob Beyerlein and children Adalyn & Jaylyn. Curt (Krystal) Beyerlein and children Matthew & Nathan. Brian Douglas, Brittany Romig, Katie Romig, Jessica Kerbyson and Lukas Kerbyson. Nancy truly loved her family, friends and co-workers. \n\nIn lieu of flowers, donations may be made to three charities that Nancy was passionate about.
