Norma R. Kendall passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, March 7, 2012. She was born November 26, 1928 in Peoria, Il the daughter of Edward and Nellie Hodson Sutton. She grew up in East Peoria, attended grade school and graduated from East Peoria High School. Norma Began her career in 1947 working in Engine Sales at Caterpillar. In 1953 she married Joseph O Kendall. After receiving her 10 year service award from Caterpillar, she elected to become a housewife and raise her two sons. The family relocated to Aurora, Illinois in 1960. In 1970 Norma became a real estate associate at McEnroe Real Estate where she won many awards over the next 20 years. In 1989 she and Joe began spending winters in south Florida and summers in Aurora. In 2005 they later moved to Tucson. Before retirement, Norma was a long time volunteer worker at hospitals in Aurora and Ft. Myers, Fl. Norma is survived by her husband, Joseph; two sons, Ron (Linda) Kendall, of Marana, AZ and Larry (Jo) Kendall, of Vail, AZ; three grandchildren, Nicole Kendall, of Suffolk, VA, Michelle (Patrick) McMahon, of Yorkville, Ill., Jess Kendall, of Mackinaw City, MI; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Delmar (Audrey) Sutton, of Peoria, Ill., Harold (Judy) Sutton, of Missouri and Dr. Charles (Sharon) Sutton, of Montrose, Colorado. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers the family asks remembrances of Norma go to Casa de la Luz Foundation, 7740 N. Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85704. They provided wonderful care for Norma's last ten days.
