Patsie Ruth Jones Bejar\n\nPatsie Ruth Jones Bejar was born in Vernon, Texas, on February 16, 1938. She was raised in Central Heights, Arizona, by her parents, Rachel and Jack (Jessie) Jones, along with her brothers, Kenneth, Keith, and Wayne, and her sister, Jackie, all deceased. She married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Charles Bejar, on February 9, 1959, in Salt Lake City, Utah, where Robert was working for Raytheon Company.\n\nOver the years, with their two daughters, Kimberlyn and Valerie, they lived in southern California, New Hampshire, and Maine, where they welcomed their son, Gregory. Longing for the sunshine of her home state, Patsie and her family moved to Tempe, Arizona, and, later, Mesa, Arizona. After their children were grown and Robert retired, they grew tired of the hustle and bustle of the Phoenix area and settled in Oro Valley, Arizona. It was here that Patsie found much joy and peace. Patsie loved her view of the Catalina Mountains and the smell after a fresh desert rain. In her later years, Patsie enjoyed spending time with her cross-stitch, painting, coloring, and the thousands (literally) of books she happily consumed. Patsie also loved hummingbirds, which will always remind us of her loving spirit.\n\nBut, most of all, Patsie loved her family. Along with Robert, her children, Kimberlyn Renee Flinchbaugh (Mark) of Palm Harbor, Florida, Valerie Alison Segerson (Chuck) of Woodland Park, Colorado, and Gregory Robert Bejar (Brenda) of Tucson, Arizona, were the center of her world. Her grandchildren soon joined that circle - Heather Maureen Flinchbaugh, Nicholas Adam Segerson, Kelly Renee Segerson, Tristan Robert Bejar, and Mia Alexis Bejar.\n\nWe will celebrate her life at a Memorial Service to be held at Vistoso Funeral Home, at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017. In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations be made to Casa de la Luz Hospice.
