Penny Adrienne (Anderson) Specktor
January 24, 1960—January 14, 2025

In loving memory of Penny Specktor, daughter of Elroy and
Blanche Anderson.

Penny’s friends of many years and family, who loved her dearly,
will hold her forever in their hearts. Penny battled a severe case
of colitis for several months and lost her struggle with this and
collateral health issues. This combination proved too much for
her, and she passed away from heart failure in her sleep the
morning of Tuesday, January 14th, 2025.

Penny was born in Los Angeles, California, where she met her
first husband, Michael Specktor. Her son from this wedding is
Brandon Specktor. He and his wife Rebecca Pollack Specktor
have two children, Theodore (Teddy), and Henry, whom Penny
adored. Penny was devoted to her son, daughter-in-law,
grandchildren, and her cat, Twinkie, and is survived by her
sister Joanne (Anderson) Givens and nephew Richard Givens.
Her husband, Peter G Strand, will always love her and knows
that having Penny in his life was a great blessing.

Penny will be missed by her close friends of many years, who
love her. Her interment is at All Faiths Cemetery in Tucson,
Arizona, with her beloved parents Elroy and Blanche Anderson.
