Raymond R. L'Heureux, 80, passed away after a long illness. He was born in Manhattan, New York to Eugene and Angelina (LaRiviere) L'Heureux. His school years were spent in Massachusetts where he graduated from Agawam High School. After serving 3 years in the US Army National Guard (Active/Reserve) he stayed in the New England area and started his career in retail foods. In 1975, he decided to move his family to the Southwest to pursue better employment. He worked for Alpha Beta, later ABCO supermarkets, first in Phoenix then in Tucson until his retirement in 2000. After a year of relaxation, he took a part-time job with Quarry Pines Golf Course which allowed him all the golf he could handle. It was his favorite retirement past time along with trips to San Diego whenever it could be arranged. \n\nRay is survived by his wife of 33 years, Susan as well as his 4 children, Joseph (Amy), Michael (Tina), Richard (Dena) and Kymberly (John), 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. His siblings, Eugene, Paul and Dolores, Granddaughter Camile and great granddaughter Diamond predeceased him as did his parents.
