ROBERT J. BAUGHMAN EXPERIENCE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, NATIONAL COALITION FOR JUVENILE JUSTICE, the national coalition of State Juvenile Justice Advisory Groups, a national advocacy group, created by Congress, whose members are appointed by their Governors. 1990 TO 1996 VICE-PRESIDENT FOR GOVERNMENT RELATIONS OF THE AMERICAN ORTHOTIC AND PROSTHETIC ASSOCIATION, a national allied-health trade association. 1979-1989 ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (CHIEF OF STAFF) TO CONGRESSMAN ROMANO MAZZOLI (1971-1976) AND CONGRESSMAN CEC HEFTEL (1977-1978). Managed the Congressional office in Washington and supervised the district office. Represented the Congressmen in varied public, legislative and political capacities, including developing legislation, organizing constituent services, and maintaining supportive liaison with volunteers in the Congressional District. 1971-1978 COUNSEL TO TWO LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEES OF THE KENTUCKY GENERAL ASSEMBLY. 1967-1970 EDUCATION BA (History/Political Science-1964) and JD (Law-1967), University of Louisville, Kentucky. Served as President of University Student Government and of legal fraternity. LEGAL Admitted to practice in Kentucky and the District of Columbia, and before the United States Supreme Court. PERSONAL Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. Eagle Scout, selected to lead outstanding Scouts of the country in presenting the annual Scouting Report to the President of the United States. Served three years in U. S. Army, stationed primarily in Germany. Active in community affairs, served as President of residential community homeowners association, and in various community organization offices. Served two terms as national President of the German Wine Society of the United States. Founding member and past chairman of Washington Chapter. Retired and moved to Sedona, AZ in 1997. Member, Vice-Chair and Chair, Sedona Historic Preservation Commission. 1999-2002. Volunteer, Docent, interim Director and Trustee, Museum of Northern Arizona, Flagstaff, AZ . Volunteer, Docent and Trustee, Sedona Heritage Museum/Sedona Historical Society. Moved to Oro Valley, AZ (a suburb of Tucson) for medical reasons in 2004. Member and past Chair, Oro Valley Historical Society He was espcially interested and involved in the restoration of the Steam Pump Ranch. Member and past Chair, Historic Preservation Commission of Oro Valley.
