Robert Leonard

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved father
Robert “Bob” Leonard who left us on September 27th , 2024 at the age of 90. He
was born and raised in Staten Island, NY. He was the only son of Bertram and
Elsie Leonard. As a young boy and through his adulthood he took great pride in
being a Boy Scout which greatly drove his ambitions. After graduating high school
Bob enlisted in the United States Air Force where he proudly served as an Aircraft
Mechanic. After his service he was employed by Lockheed, then later he
accepted a sales position with CAMP Systems. This job afforded him the
opportunity to travel the four corners of the world creating interesting stories to
share from such places as China and Australia. Once retired, Bob and his beloved
wife Millie split their time between their homes located in New York and Arizona.
Bob got to truly enjoy his many hobbies and interests which included camping
with his family, fishing, physical fitness and wood working. His most proud
activity was participating on many softball leagues even in his later years of life.

Bob was preceded by his wife Millie and his youngest daughter Kris Aspromonti as
well his oldest grandson Joseph Gromalski. Bob is survived by his four daughters
Debi Wagner, Alaska, Kim Gromalski , Florida, Dawne Baum, New Jersey, Kelly
(Ken) Rossmann, New York and his sister Carole (Andy) Covella and their children.
In addition, eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and three great-
great grandchildren. He is also survived by his loving companion Drea Holland,
Arizona.

A funeral will be held at Vistoso Funeral Home, Oro Valley, AZ on October 4,
2024 from 12:00-3:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served directly after.
