He was born December 12, 1938, in Omaha, Nebraska to parents Boyd Mulfordand Dorothy (Mahoney) Mulford. He was also a previous resident of Apple Valley and Chino,California. Robert is preceded in death by his wife Sandra K Mulford (July 24, 1945- March 11,2012), daughter Paula Brock, brother Raymond Mulford, and sisters Geanne Lukes and SandraCarr. Robert is survived by daughters Natalie K. Butala, Lisa R. Andrade, sister Dolores Odom,Grandpa to Chase Butala, Kourtney Brock, Tanner Butala, Cassandra Steely, and Lynnsey Brock,and 11 great grandchildren. He was also referred to as Uncle Bob to countless family andfriends.Bob spent his lifelong career as a truck driver traveling the West Coast, Arizona, New Mexico,and Texas. Eventually, he owned his own trucking company, Paladin Inc. In Bob's younger yearshe enjoyed camping with family and friends, traveling, and throwing parties. He loved riding hisHarley and doing community outreach programs. Bob was an active member of the MooseLodge in Brea, California where he served as Governor of the Moose Lodge from 1981-1982. Hewas meticulous about caring for his cars and yard and was also an excellent grill master. As awhole, Bob was a very caring and giving man. He held his loved ones close and did whatever hecould to help anyone in need.After residing in California for much of his life, he moved to Tucson, Arizona in 2018 with hisdaughter Lisa. Shortly after arriving in Arizona, he shared the proud honor of walking hisgranddaughter Cassandra down the aisle at her wedding. While in Arizona, he loved spendingtime outside in the warm weather with his faithful dog Mundo who he lovingly referred to as"his baby". He looked forward to Sunday dinners where he would laugh while watching hisgreat grandkids Carson and Macie play in the yard and shared stories with Cassandra'shusband, Daniel.A Memorial Service will be held, Saturday, February 4, 2023, 2:00 PM at Vistoso Funeral Home2285 E.
