Robert Lea Roosma, beloved husband of 53 years, father and grandfather, passedaway on June 26, 2023. Born to Jeanne Kirchner Roosma and Robert Roosma onJune 6, 1947. Raised in Michigan with his sister Judy Roosma Robison, now livingin New Hampshire, and his brother David Roosma who lives in Germany.\n\nRob was the father to William Roosma and Christopher Roosma. He was acherished grandpa to five grandchildren. Nicole Roosma Drake, Amanda Roosma,daughters of Will and Michelle Dash Roosma. Cole, Luke, and Dane Roosma, sonsof Christopher and Dyan Crippen Roosma. The kids have fond memories ofcamping and fishing in the mountains, and boogie boarding at the beach.\n\nRob and Carol Goch Roosma were married April 3, 1970. He was then drafted intothe Army and served in Schwaebisch gmuend, Germany. Upon completing hisservice, Rob, Carol, and Will moved to Tucson, Arizona, where Rob received aMaster's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Arizona. Rob workedat Hughes Aircraft, Tucson National Resort, Westin La Paloma Resort, andUniversity Physicians Healthcare. After retiring in 2011, Rob continued to enjoyreading, participating in sports, staying active in his community and playing withhis dogs, Corky and Molly, who are also morning his loss.\n\nRob's loving nature and sense of humor left a lifelong legacy that will always be apart of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed.The Memorial service will be held at Vistoso Funeral Home on July 10, 2023 at11:00am.
