Robert Blain Weiss passed away June 19, 2018 at home in Tucson, Arizona with family present at the age of 71.\n\nHe was born in Conneaut Ohio on January 16, 1947 to Harlin Robert Weis and Mary Maxine Baxter, along with his sisters Lori and Jeri. \n\nRobert is survived by his wife Cindy Weiss (Omstead); his son, Jason Robert Weiss and his wife Meredith of Lunenburg, Massachusetts; his son, Blain Philip Weiss of Honolulu, Hawaii; his daughter, Andrea Janelle Yatsco (Weiss) and her husband Paul of Essex Junction, Vermont; and his grandson, Kyle Nicholas Weiss of Lunenburg, Massachusetts. Robert was preceded in death by his first wife of nearly forty years, Deidrea Marie Weiss (Hlifka). Robert was in the Army and Army National Guard between 1965-1977, and was honorably discharged. He coached YMCA/YWCA youth soccer programs and little league baseball youth programs. \n\nRobert was a member of the Catalina Mountain Elks #2815 for eight years, and held the roles of Leading Knight and Lecturing Knight. \n\nRobert was an honest and hard worker his entire life, enjoyed building and fixing things, and spending time outdoors. Robert had a way with people, and was loved by many and will be missed. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Vistoso Funeral Home. A prayer service and Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Tucson on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 11:00am. A memorial service will be held July 8, 2018 at Vistoso Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Oro Valley at 1:00pm.
