Sutliff, Rose-Marie. \n\nRose-Marie passed away September 20, 2017 with her family by her side. She was born in St. Boniface, Manitoba, Canada, on November 03, 1939 to Joseph and Beatrice Thibert. She grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. While on vacation in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, she met Lynn Sutliff who was enlisted with the U.S. Navy and stationed on the USS Salmon when it was visiting the Pacific Northwest. They later married on February 14, 1963 in San Diego California. They lived in San Diego California, Honolulu Hawaii, Marion Illinois, Charleston South Carolina, back to San Diego California, and finally retiring here in Tucson Arizona. She lived most of her life as a Navy wife, often raising her children by herself while her husband served his country. They loved each other very much and made their life wherever they were stationed. Rose worked jobs that included a shoe factory, telemarketing, bagging at the commissary, and eventually head bagger for five years. She also owned her own housecleaning business. She enjoyed being a Cub Scout Leader and teaching Bible Study both at her house and at Faith Community Church, where she attended. She spent the rest of her life surrounded by her family, who also raised their families in Tucson. She is survived by her husband Lynn, her children Glenn (Theresa), Sheryle (Dale), and Greg (Kiersten), and by her "grandbabies" Jenna, Kayla, Mackenzie, Garrett, Kaitlyn, Joseph, Eric, and Jaelyn. Also survived by her sister Beverly and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Beatrice Thibert and her sisters Joann Feculak and Carol Boroskae. She devoted her life to God, her family, and her friends. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. Join us in celebrating her life at Faith Community Church East, 8455 E.
