Rosemary Dalla Rosa passed away on November 4th, 2021. Her husband, Karl preceded her in death by 7 months, passing away on March 27th, 2021. Rosemary and Karl were married for over 61 years. Their love and devotion to each other and their family endures.\n\nRosemary is survived by her three children, Julie Dalla Rosa and her husband Paul Mireles in Chicago Il, Karl Dalla Rosa and his husband Alvaro Ochoa in Portland Or, and Kurt Dalla Rosa in Oro Valley. Rosemary was fiercely proud of her grandchildren, Liam and his wife Aly, Lukas and Miranda. They will always treasure the many wonderful memories of their "Gram". Rosemary was very close to her only brother, Julius (Jay) Tieber who preceded her in death, passing away December 1st, 2012. Rosemary is survived by her sister in law Maxine Tieber and is beloved "Aunt Rosemary" to her niece and nephew and their children in Ohio. In California, Rosemary is fondly remembered by her nieces, great nieces and nephew and great, great nieces and nephew.\n\nPrior to moving to Oro Valley in 2009, Rosemary and Karl had retired to Nevada City, Ca from their home in Sierra Madre, Ca. Their beautiful mountain home was an ideal spot for family to gather. Good times, good food, and joyful fellowship were always to be had at "Camp Dalla Rosa". Rosemary and Karl loved the outdoors and travel. In their younger days they took numerous back packing trips in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Their trip to Tanzania, Africa was particularly memorable and life changing.\n\nRosemary had a kind word and smile for anyone she happened to meet and is loved and adored by many in the Sun City and Fair Winds communities. Her love of life and enthusiasm for all things "fun" made her a favorite. She was known for always bringing the party with her, enjoying cards, karaoke, shopping, and eating out. There are so, so many of us that will keep Rosemary forever close in our hearts.\n\nIn the words of Billie Holiday...\n\n"I'll be seeing you in all the familiar places that this heart of mine embraces, all day through"\n\n\n\nThere are no gallery images.
