In Loving Memory of Sharon Pettijohn \n\n\n\nSharon Lee Pettijohn, of Tucson, AZ died Sunday, April 24, 2022, aged 80. \n\n\n\nShe was born Sharron Lee Blythe in Kansas City, Mo., on May 11, 1941 to Wannetta (Anita) Ellen Alexander and William Jefferson Blythe III. \n\n\n\nAs a young girl, Sharon traveled the country with her mother living in several states. Her teen years were spent in Los Angeles, California where she attended Hollywood High. In 1957 while living in an L.A. apartment building, she met her future husband, Robert G. Pettijohn, a US Navy sailor and the son of the apartment manager, Dorothy Grey Pettijohn.\n\n\n\nSharon and Robert married on April 16, 1958. After Robert got out of the Navy, the happy couple and new born son moved to Phoenix, Arizona in August of 1959. They raised three sons, Thomas Edward, Michael James, and Robert Brian. \n\n\n\nAfter the children were grown, the couple moved to Albuquerque, back to Phoenix, and then finally to Tucson where they lived for over 30 years. Sharon and Robert were married for 60 years until Robert's death in January 2019.\n\n\n\nSharon was a wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was an avid reader of romance and western novels, and was involved with her neighborhood HOA.\n\n\n\nSharon was preceded in death by her father, mother, and husband Robert. She is survived by her three sons; Thomas, Michael and Brian, grandson Kenneth, and four great grandchildren.
