Marana, Arizona
Steven Howard Pincus was born in Orange, New Jersey on December 30, 1961 and we lost him in Tucson, Arizona on March 26, 2026. His passing was absolutely unexpected.
He is survived by his Mother, Marilyn, and his sisters Arlene and Karen and his children, Vasya David and Galina Mae. His father, Burton Pincus, passed away years ago.
Steve was a distinguished trial attorney with offices in Tucson and the Phoenix area. His law career began in New Jersey when he was graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law and clerked for a Superior Court Judge. He was admitted to the Bar in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. While in school, he worked in Atlantic City for the Casino Control Commission. Later, he moved to Arizona and sat for the Bar in Arizona. He built a reputation not only for his legal skill but for his dedication, integrity and leadership within the legal community. At the time of death he was a recent retiree.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Steve lived a full and vibrant life. He was an avid hiker and loved dogs and other animals. He appreciated all Mother Nature has to offer and found joy in traveling the world and getting acquainted with different cultures. Steve had an "eye" for the finest paintings, Native American woven rugs, and other art forms. When it came to cuisine, Steve was a gourmet and a good cook. Finally, Steve had a special appreciation for food, fashion, and cars.
Steve loved to see what life had to offer by exploring many different hobbies and passions that brought him great joy throughout his life. He was a very generous man. His presence, intellect, and passion for life will be sorely missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
On April 19, 2026, a Memorial Gathering will take place from noon until 3:00 PM at the Arizona Sands Club, 565 Cherry Ave., Tucson, Arizona.
