He was raised and lived in Schererville, IN. Ted attended St. Micheal's Grade School and graduated from Dyer High School and then attended Indiana University at DePaw. Ted was employed as the Vice President of a construction company in Hazelcrest, IL. Ted married his classmate Paulette and they lived in Scherervilee, IN. they had 2 sons, Mark (Julie) and Paul (Shannon); 3 grandsons Jeff, Teddy, and Alex; 4 great grandsons Nathan, Liam, Lennox and Noah.\n\nTed was a longtime member of the Schererville Civic Fund and the Schererville Lions Club where he served as President and Zone Chairman. ted was named the Lion of the Year in 1967.\n\nTed was also a member of the Masonic Lodge in Schererville and the Orak Shrine in Hammond, IN and a member of the Scottish Rite and the Knights of Templar. \n\nIn 1995, he and Paulette retired and moved to SaddleBrooke, AZ, Just north of Tucson. He joined the Masonic Lodge in Oracle and the Sabba Shrine in Tucson. Later, he joined the Elks Lodge in Catalina, Arizona.\n\nWhile in SaddleBrooke he was a member of the Golf Committee and the SaddleBrooke Country Club where he golfed three times a week. The highlight of his golf experience was a trip to Scotland for golf.\n\nHe was a long time member of the Santa Catalina Church where he served as an usher for 26 years.\n\nTed and Paulette celebrated 62 years of marriage in January 2021.
