Thomas David Madrid went home to Jesus unexpectedly on February 21, 2011. Tommy graduated with the class of 2000 from San Manuel High School. He continued his education at the University of Arizona and graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health. He worked for SonoraQuest Labs for the last 6 years. He started working in the lab in Tucson and worked most recently in the Marketing and Sales department in Tempe, Arizona. He was so enthusiastic about his work and all that he was learning from his many friends and mentors within the company. Like everything he did, he put his whole heart into it. Tommy enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He never saw a stranger. Each and every family member and friend was so precious to him. He was so thoughtful and generous and loved giving gifts to everyone he cared about. The most amazing gift he gave was himself. If Tommy cared about someone, they knew it. The first thing anyone would say about him is that he always had a smile on his face. He touched so many lives in his short time on earth. He stopped by to enrich our lives and now is off to his next adventure. What an incredible angel he's going to be! Tommy is survived by his parents, Rudy and Brenda Madrid; his brother Rudy Madrid, Jr. and his sisters Theresa and Brandy Madrid and nieces and nephews, Elias, Brennie, Noah, Jr. and Angelique. A celebration of Tommy's life will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at St. Bartholomew's Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m.
