Timothy Scott Stovall (aka Tim) was born July 1, 1969, in Seattle, Washington, and passed on November 17, 2020, in Tucson, at the young age of 51. The third of four children, Tim excelled at sports (baseball, soccer, and track) and approached everything he did with a passionate gusto. While he spent most of his life in Southern California, he moved to Tucson in 2018 and fell in love with the southern Arizona landscape (he was an avid photographer). His favorite place to visit and just "be" was grounds of the DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun. Tim also had a wicked sense of humor and (pre-pandemic) was sharing his gift at open mic nights around Tucson.\n\nHe leaves behind a grieving family that will miss him greatly: mother Nancy Walker (Roy) (AZ); father Bill (Kara Gay) (AZ); sister Chrisie Drake (David) (AZ); brother Todd (Jessica), nephew Brady & niece Camille (TX); brother Jeff (Mary Beth) & niece Alyssa (CA), step-sister Laura Baukol (Matthew) (CO), and aunt Susan Vucichevich (John) (AZ).\n\nA celebration of life will be held in 2021 when family & friends are able to travel safely. Tim loved dogs; in lieu of flowers, a donation in his memory to your local no-kill animal shelter would make him smile. \n\nHis final resting place will be in the East memorial wall on the grounds of St. Mark's United Methodist Church, with a view of the mountains and desert he so loved.
