William "Bill" Prati passed away peacefully on August 14, 2021. He was born on April 25, 1933 in Magnolia, Ohio and grew up in Lorain, Ohio. After serving 4 years in the USAF, he went to Ohio University where he graduated with a Master's of Engineering degree. After graduating from college, he began a 37 year career in aerospace engineering that he loved. His first 30 years he worked for NASA Lewis Research Center in Cleveland. Following his retirement from NASA, he worked another 7 years with Analex Corporation.\n\nBill and Pat retired to SaddleBrooke, AZ where they made wonderful friends and enjoyed 21 years of friendship, golf and sunshine.\n\nBill leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Pat; his children Elisabeth (Frank) Boucek of Tempe, AZ, Shelley (Mark) Varouh of Amherst, OH, and Lauren (Corky) Kane of Chicago, IL; 7 wonderful grandchildren - Lexy, Emily, Max, Madison, Claudia, Anna, and Allyssa; and his sister Margaret.\n\nServices will be private.\n\nHe will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
