Wolfgang Alois Brach Obituary (1941

Wolfgang Alois Brach was born January 15, 1941 to Alois and Johanna (Ruth) Brach in Hanau, Hessen, Germany. He immigrated to the United States in 1976. Wolfgang settled and raised his family in South Ozone Park, Queens, NY, with his adored wife Kitty (Dwarka). Wolfgang was a Spanish, German, and music teacher. In New York, Wolfgang enjoyed spending time at the beach, cheering for his beloved Yankees, Giants, and Islanders, and cooking for and spending quality time with his family. He also traveled extensively with his wife, visiting more than 20 countries together. Wolfgang was a "snowbird," and eventually settled, in Tucson, AZ, with Kitty. In Tucson, Wolfgang developed a passion for hiking, often blazing new trails in the Catalina Foothills, as well as tinkering in tile-work. He was a respected member in his Arizona community and could be counted on to always have a treat for the neighborhood dogs walking by. Wolfgang passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 23, 2019 at Banner University Medical Center in Tucson. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Ursula. His memory will live on in his beloved wife of 43 years, daughter, Natalie, son, Corbin (Megan), sister Waltraut Martin, and grandsons Benjamin Alois and Frederick Wolfgang. A gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Monday October 28th, 2019 at 2pm at Vistoso Funeral Home. A Memorial service will be held in New York at a later date.
