Zev Cywan Obituary (1939

Zev Cywan, 71, passed away after a long illness on January 17, 2011 in Oro Valley, AZ. Zev was born in San Francisco, CA on July 11, 1939 and graduated from the University of California Berkeley. Zev married his loving wife Marilyn Cywan in 1983. They soon moved to Raleigh, NC where they built the home of their dreams and spent many happy years. In 2005, Zev and Marilyn retired to Oro Valley, AZ, where Zev became increasingly involved in the politics of the town of Oro Valley and his neighborhood of Rancho Vistoso. Zev Cywan was known by many for his quirky sense of humor, his snazzy dressing, his showmanship in the kitchen, and his amazing talent on the piano. He was a loving husband, a good friend to many, and a gentle soul who is now in a much better place. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends, including his beloved Shi-Tzu, Marty.
